I bought this book two days ago after spotting it in the chemist's whilst waiting for yet another prescription of antibiotics. I have gone through the whole book, making notes of anything that seems to be relevant, and I am amazed at the amount of information I have gleaned. I thought I knew everything there is to know about this complaint! The book is very clearly written in simple language, I found the diagnosis chart very useful for pinpointing possible causes, and there are some very interesting tips on hygiene, diet, self-help and alternative remedies. I am due to see a urologist next week and I now feel confident that I will be able to ask all the right questions and understand any treatment recommended. I have learned far more from this book than I have from my GP, in fact I think I should buy him a copy too! To any woman who suffers from recurrent cystitis and UTI, you don't have to suffer in silence - read this, arm yourself with the facts and try the action plans recommended - it's got to be worth a try!
