If you`re looking for a book full of Marilyn pictures, this is a good book, although all of the pictures are in black & white, which makes it a bit boring at times. Still, it does not only have pictures, there are Marilyn quotes on every page, and they make you feel like you get to know her a bit. You get to read her own words instead of an author`s words. The book also includes a timeline of Marilyn`s life, a wonderful listing of all her movies, and pictures from all of them + some words about the movies. It even lists albums and songs by Marilyn and many other biographies written about her.
But if you are looking for a biography of Marilyn and want to learn about her life, this is not the right book. This book is for people who want to have a lot of beautiful pictures of her, although I would recommend "Marilyn Monroe and the camera" by Jane Russell for major Marilyn Monroe fans, because that book has lots of wonderful colour pictures as well.
All in all "A never-ending dream" is a good book, with lots of nice pictures, but there are better ones out there.
I`ll give it 3 stars, if I could I`d give it 3 and a half, 4 is a bit too generous, but I feel that the book is better than 3 stars.
