This is a fascinating insight into Swedenborg's life, work and beliefs. This is a comprehensive, interesting and enthralling study. No Christian should be without it!

Henry Corbin - the scholar of Islamic Mysticism - was truly inspired and influenced by Swedenborg and saw profound links between him and various Islamic Mystics. Recommended: Swedenborg and Esoteric Islam.

If you want to go to Swedenborg and discover him this is an excellent starting place. It is scholarly, passionate and not in the slightest pedantic. It places Swedenborg within the baroque milieu and captures something of his revolutionary spirit. Suzuki called him the `Buddha of the North'. An apt title.

Recommended not only for Christians but Muslims as well.
