5.0 out of 5 stars Who, What, Why and When, 28 Feb 2005
This review is from: Freemason at Work (Hardcover)
'I keep six honest serving-men
(they taught me all i knew);
Their names are What and Why and When
And How and Where and Who'.

Bro Rudyard Kipling

And so is the writing of the late Harry Carr. A guide to the Craft that no Mason or student of Freemasonry should be without.
Freemasonry is steeped in tradition and has been over hundreds of years, and dependant of which track the initiate wishes to travel there is some evidence that may indicate its existence over thousands of years.
Harry asks and answers the questions that are, have been and often will be, asked by masonic scholars and brethren about the various forms, degrees and rituals that we carry out today.

This is an invaluable book that should be on every Masons bookshelf if not in his regalia case. If you only intend to own one book in order to make a daily advancement in masonic knowledge then this is the one.

regards - jh
