4.0 out of 5 stars Excellent synopsis of employment law in the U.K., 4 Jan 2001
This book focusses on the current aspects of employment law without getting bogged down in the history of how the law developed.

From that point of view it is an excellent reference guide to any practitioner who wants to keep up to date with employment law.

Each chapter is nicely laid out with a short introduction explaining what the chapter covers. Then made easy to read by headings and useful one page summary at the end of each chapter.

One improvement for future editions might be a concluding chapter describing the likely changes to employment law over the next twelve months.
