5.0 out of 5 stars A first rate resource for anyone in a facilitator role, 2 Jan 2000
By A Customer
Usefully covers issues for all types of facilitators - those who facilitate 'training' events and those who facilitate 'normal work' events. There is a helpful table of behaviours typical of trainers/instructors v facilitators and another of behaviours typical of directive leaders v facilitators to help distinguish some of the potential differences.

Neuro-linguistic programming and transactional analysis are two behavioural models that have been introduced in a practical and accessible way.

The practical exercises were helpful in developing my understanding and skill.

I started by dipping into this book and soon found I was motivated to start at the beginning and follow it all the way through.
