Product Description
This complete audio course in Portuguese is intended to help you to develop your existing knowledge and gain confidence in speaking the language. It consists of two textbooks and eight audiocassettes adapted to oral mode, with word lists, further explanation on points of grammar and a variety of exercises. Idiomatic and colloquial language is used and taken from newspapers and magazines to help bring the language to life. This course is the follow-on course from the series "..In Three Months", however, it is by no means essential to have completed this basic course prior to the advanced programme. A fair knowledge of the language is a prerequisite to commence the course which should take around 100 hours, and is intended to help you speak fluently.

Ms Allen's advanced course does not give you anything new. It just revises the Hugo Portuguese in Three Months. Things like future subjunctive and personal infinitive are already in the other course.

This course says the same all over again. It has texts with questions but some texts are very odd. One is called Gordura e Formusura, Fat is Beautiful, other Fazer Filhos, To Make Babies. Really!
