4.0 out of 5 stars great book, 19 Oct 2009
An Absolutely Brilliant Book by the Author of the Very Best Spitfire Reference & Operational History Book ever written.Francis K. Mason has produced another tour de force with this Well Written,Well Presented Historical View of the Royal Air Force Bomber(not to be confused with another book with the same title by a P.Lewis).Some people may think this is just a Reference Book for The Historian but it is much more than this.A Truly absorbing Read.I certainly Learned a lot from it.References to Aircraft that I had never heard of before etc.Recommended.The British Bomber Since 1914 (Putnam's British aircraft)

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing, 3 Sep 2003
By A Customer
A quick sampling of a single aircraft turned up so many blunders in service history that I gave up. Not recommended.
