This is a genuine factory parts book published in 1956. It covers all AJS and Matchless singles and twins available in that year. AMC produced a new parts book for each production year, so this book makes no attempt to cover previous models, and obviously machines made after '56 cannot be included.
If you happen to have an AMC motorcycle made in 1956 then Bingo! This is exactly the right book for you. If yours comes before or after, well lots of parts were the same for many years and the book is still worth getting.
