4.0 out of 5 stars The Black Watch, 25 Sep 2002
By David D. Lawson (The Peoples Republic of California) - See all my reviews
I purchased this book over 20 years ago and find that I still pull it out and read it once & a while. On the whole it is an excellent book about the Royal Highland Regiment. The only part that is not up to snuff is the uniform illustrations. It is a pity that Osprey did not have Angus McBride or Embleton do the art work. But for the price you can not go wrong and I commend it for a good general history of this outstanding Regiment.
