This is Flynns first autobiography and tells the tale of his trip around the cost of Australia prior to his days in Hollywood. The young Flynn and friends set sail in the leaky, first incarnation of the yacht 'Scirroco' and stagger through the coastal backwaters of 1920s Australia. Their scrapes are numerous, amusing and almost always non-fatal (sheep not withstanding) with Flynn as ever leading the way. Well worth reading if you're a fan of the swashbuckler or nautical books in general. I only give it four crowns as Flynn, once again, feels the need to embellish the truth for the sake of a good story as well as attempting to perpetuate the myth of his Irish roots.
