Another winner. I was thrust into this novel after reading LEFT BEHIND. I appreciate the way the characters continue their "journeys" as THE TRIBULATION FORCE. I read this book in 3 days as well. I have already purchased the third book, NICOLAE. What a great source of prophetic reading.

I read this book in a single day. It does keep you turning the pages. I am not a regular church-goer, and sometimes I found the characters expounding to each other about their newfound faith in a repitious manner. These parts dragged. (Not that the characters wouldn't continue to think aobut their conversions, but the writing about it was done in a very repetitious manner.) So if you are a person who is not DEFINITELY interested in religion and knowing more about the continued propehcies of Revelation, then you would probably not rate this book highly. I still enjoyed the book, and the plot was good. I like the characters. I will be continuing with the Series, but this book left me less excited to go on to the next than the first book did.

Forgive me, I mean no insult to people who find this series inspiring, but to be fair and honest about it, these novels are appallingly bad. The writing is elementary school, the plot below that, and the characters unimaginably wooden and unrealistic. There is only one endtimes novel I have ever read that even approximates the scare-factor and realism such a topic deserves, and that is Glenn Kleier's "The Last Day." If you've read that thrilling work, you'll understand what I'm talking about.
