4.0 out of 5 stars Concise and Useful for trainee Ophthalmologists, 17 Jan 2002
By A Customer
General Ophthalmology by Daniel Vaughan MD, et al
is a book most suitable for trainee ophthalmologists and also for those with an interest in knowing more of the more common conditions of the eye.
Good layout and well written. It is not too heavy to lug around. It is written in a concise manner. Highly readable.
One drawback is the lack of colour photographs which can explain its very affordable price. It remains a very good investment especially when one is starting out in Ophthalmology. One can get a dedicated colour atlas to supplement it and use this book it as a quick efficient book to know the pertinent and relevant points.
Overall, worth getting.
