The opening line of the Foreword states that this book is intended for cars sold in the US.
The wiring diagrams certainly did not compare with my UK car.

Very nice book, well organized and presented but clearly written by somebody who never has owned or driven one of these cars: largely theoretical and superficial when it comes to any even very simple information about basic repairs or service.

In these days, buying a car is like buying a computer software. You pay for the right to use it. And if something goes wrong, you get a minimun off help. This book can help you and save a lot off money, not having to go to the shop for every little thing. But still it's not complett. But still very usefull. Why spend $50 on the shop just to CHECK tho oil level in the transmission then you can do it yourself, with some help from the book.

I liked the illustrations although I was a little depressed as the book failed to tell me where my spark plugs were located on my diesel engine.

Some of the information regarding repair is very superficial. There is no step by step instruction for some commonly performed tasks e.g; replacing spark plugs etc.
