This is a great little book for those who don't read Chinese characters and want a brief introduction, especially to the many street signs. While there are many signs in English in big cities, the smaller cities and off-the-beaten-track areas have signs only in Chinese. Save yourself the embarrassment of walking into the wrong public toilet--get this book!
