This is a very good book.It covers many subjects such as breeding, feeding and lots more.I can not stop reading it.It is suitable for older children and adults,and gives a lot of information and has over 100 pictures.It also incudes goldfish characteristics,as well it has some pictures of rare fancy goldfish such as Jinkin,Tosakin and Watkin.

Don't be put off by the more technical and gory stuff! One of the chapters in this book is aimed solely at vets. The rest of the book contains detailed information about caring, treating diseases, breeding and raising fry and types of goldfish accompanied by loads of beautiful colour photos. It also looks at the history of goldfish which is an interesting bonus. Although this book may seem daunting for the beginner, I would recommend it because the so-called 'beginner's guides' lack a lot of important information. Keeping goldfish is fun and easy with the knowledge learnt from this book.

This book is great for people who know more about goldfish than the standard books tell you, and it gives a much better idea of how to look after your fish than any other book. It has a very detailed section on disease and identification/treatment of disease, though it is a bit limited on information about the treatments available. It is perfect for a serious hobbyist, and also includes information about the history of goldfish which makes an interesting read.
