I found this book under the 1p books and bought it to help me write an assignment on the topic if games are art- this helped a little, but is more focused on art styles and how games art is considered a category itself and has evolved over the years.

It also talks to many well known games designers such as Will Wright (Sims and Spore)

For the 1p (under �3 after p and p) i would highly recommend it- i do not know if i would pay �10 unless i was after this type of thing specifically.

(btw...contains lots of glossy pages with game images on- all very nice :D)
