5.0 out of 5 stars a thought provoking book that is indeed one to be read, 16 Dec 2000
By A Customer
When Chief Bromden and McMurphy meet, they become good friends who share thier deepest secrets with each other, but only after some truths are discovered about the place they are imprisoned in. Set in a mental institution, Chief Bromden (believed to be deaf and dumb) tells the story of the events in the mental istitution after the arrival of McMurphy and the powerful impact he has on all the patients. The story is tragic yet hilarious and the book is a must.
