This medieval failed to hold my interest. The characters were not very interesting. The heroine is the illegitimate daughter of the lord of the castle that is bequeathed to the hero. The hero is supposed to marry the heroine's legitimate sister but she is unattractive and so not suprisingly he prefers Haith. The magical elements that the author weaves into the plot just made the whole story rather unrealistic for me.
