5.0 out of 5 stars The best scientific/technical book on Venus., 23 Nov 2001
By A Customer
This book covers all about Venus geology, geophysics, atmosphere and solar wind environment, presenting results from the latest missions to this hot world--Pioneer Venus Orbiter, Galileo Venus flyby and Magellan. Each chapter has been written by the leading specialists in the area. The reviews are thorough and scientifically accurate, with abundant citations of scientific articles. The companion CD-ROM is a great tool, even for non-discipline users, incorporating text, data and graphics which can be navigated through a multimedia interface. This book is a must-have in any planetary science library.
