As a long-time collector of Miss Garland's work, I thought I knew pretty much all there was to know about this remarkable star.

Not so!

This marvellous book is stuffed with fascinating information and demonstrates not only the enduring talent of the woman considered by many to be the greatest entertainer of all time but also just how hard she worked and her dedication to her craft.

With many rare photographs this book is sure to be regarded as the definitive "bible" on a legendary career which is still flourishing more than 30 years after her untimely death.

Highly recommended
