Product Description

Synopsis

Now in paperback, proven techniques parents can use to help their children break the debilitating cycles of obsessive-compulsive disorder and take control of their own lives. More than one million children in the USA suffer from OCD. Tortured by constant anxiety and the overwhelming need to make things "safe" by performing bizarre rituals, they find everyday life frustrating and frightening. With their behaviour disrupting both home and school life, their parents are caught in the cycle as well. Now, in this book, Dr. Tamar Chansky offers step-by-step, proven ways to guide children out of OCD - and help parents cope every step of the way.

An excellent book for any one interested in OCD.
Very easy to read and understand , although a very large book but essential to have to understand a child or adult who has OCD.
