5.0 out of 5 stars This book is fantastic, 29 July 2003
I read this book when I was about eleven. I founfd the book in my school library. Till then I've read all the lois duncan book I could find.

For those of you who never read the story

Well the story is about a girl. When she is seventeen, she discover that she was adopted. What's more she also finds out that she got a twin sister. Her twin sister also knows that she was adopted, but she is very different from the heroine and through a spooky psychic method called astral projection, she goes to find her sister. But the other twin soon regrets ever having been found- and realises that some things are best left in the past and forgotten.

This was a fantastic book I recommanded for any age.

4.0 out of 5 stars I loved this book when I read it as a teenager, 14 Jun 2001
By A Customer
I first read this book when I was about 13 years old, which was 7 years ago. I picked up this book again when I was thinking about a present for my younger sister. I looked back to what I read when I was her age and this is one of the books which immediately sprang to mind. The story intrgued me when I first read it with its twists and turns and the concept of astral projection, which I hadn't come across before. At times it was also positively eerie which I, as mosy teengers do, relished. Great read for younger readers. I also read her other books and Lois Duncan didn't dissapoint.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stranger with my face, 11 Feb 2004
By A Customer
This book is one that i have remebered from my teenhood and recently found at a carboot sale and couldn't resist buying. it was a tatty copy but looked well read and on reading it again i found why. i couldn't put it down and yet couldn't explain why i felt compelled to finish it in one day. it drew me in and then i felt emotionally exhausted on completion. Lois Duncan must have really researched this book with all it complexities. well done not many writers can have that affect.
