This is a great purchase if you're studying Russian: it provides you with tonnes of idioms and set phrases that are hard to learn, pick up and comprehend without this book. As you will know, in English we use many phrases that do not make sense to people who are learning English and it is the same for Russia (of course); this book is great for more colloquial pieces of work, but there are many phrases which can be useful even in more formal work. A great all-round book.
However, don't expect it to be like a bible.
