If you are after an in depth written analysis of the Motor Company between 1903 and the Pan, forget it! - This is so much more.

They say a picture paints a thousand words, and this book is best summed up in that way. It contains some absolutely wonderful images, that track and record the long road from humble beginnings in a garden shed, to multi-facility production giant and global icon.

Its a real eye-opener, and with its superbly presented high quality archive images and adjoining notes, has answered questions about HD history that many well written books have failed to tackle.

Its worth the money for the pre-1930 images alone!

If you love pre AMF Harleys,and in particular: Early pocket-valve twins, Flatheads, Knuckles, Sportsters or Pans, then you will treasure this book forever. - I know I will.
