5.0 out of 5 stars A colourful inspiration, 3 Jan 2002
By A Customer
This book shows what beautiful effects are possible using bright, bold colours in these Mexican interiors. If you are a fan of using bright colours in interior decoration, this book will delight you. If you are not a fan of bold colours, you may well be converted. A refreshing antidote to all the 'safe', neutral and muted tones that so many of us stick to for safety's sake. I use this book to browse through for pleasure, and to inspire me when I am tempted to 'play it safe' in my interior design...

4.0 out of 5 stars COLOUR TO BLOW YOUR MIND, 16 Nov 2000
By A Customer
At first I thought this was maybe not the book for me, but sitting down with a cup of coffee, I began to be transported into such a cacophany of colours and textures. I needed ideas for the "Mexican" kitchen that I am wanting to create and was just blown away by the clear and vibrant colours in this book.If you want background information on the styles it gives that too but for me the sheer delight of the colours and the real in your face tiles and pottery just transported me to Mexico itself.
