This book is a fantastic account of how we as humans are surrounded by nature in so many forms, scales and patterns. It shows how nature is designed and built, and how it combines beauty and practicality. It also comments on how we as human search and find pattern for reasurance and comfort. This book is a facinating and brilliant book that will never age through an insight into nature that is unique and clever. This book has been an inspiration to my artwork at degree level. However, I would say that this is a book for all levels of study and general interest in nature, science, design, art, and pattern. It is a wonderful book worthy of a 5 star rating.
