Freud is without doubt crucial to how contemporary figurative artists approach their subject. He has influenced countless painters, and given people an insight into how to capture someone's essence and immortalise it in oil paint.

This dude really can paint! If you are familiar with Freud's work or not, this is a book you will want to flick through over and over.

You've heard my babble - if u want great figure paintings at your fingertips, this is a book u will need!
