This book upped my average a little and gave me some helpful tips, but it is so outdated that 80% of all the things it says are wrong. When the book came out, urethane balls were just invented.

This is a good book on the basics of bowling with a good chapter on
analyzing your faults and a chapter on how to get the most out of
your practice sessions.
I though I was going to learn how to improve my game and start getting
more 200+ games but then again I though I was going to win the lottery
and I didn't.
