This book is a nive introduction to self-hypnosis. It is easy to read and takes you step by step through the self-hypnosis process.

Half an hour a day self-hypnosis is stated as the minimum requirement for any self-hypnotist, so bare this in mind before you buy the book.

You are talked through the self-hypnotism and given generic scripts that you can record to tape for routines such as giving up smoking, losing weight, stopping blushing etc.

This book is a good, easy-to-read introduction to self-hypnosis.

I bought this book with the intention of hypnotising myself into giving up smoking. It was a success. The book was easy to read with the opening chapters on the history of hypnotism, you can then learn the basic induction techniques. I read all this with the intention of starting my self-hypnosis the next day, but before I went to sleep I had a quick read of the hypnotic suggestions for giving up smoking. I never smoked again. I must have taken it in so easily, particularly before sleeping for the night, that I hypnotised myself without realising it. That was nearly three years ago and I haven't smoked since. I can't recommend the book enough.
