From fun Santas for the children to the peaceful and traditional patterns for your grandparents., From cards and tags to works of art. What ever your skill level - you'll find something to make and cherish over the years

Indeed I was glad to have found a nativity scene in a Christmas cross stitch book. This doesn't mean that I don't enjoy the other things associated with Christmas such as Santa, snowman, Christmas tree etc but I think the Nativity scene is both traditional and meaningful.

This book has 5 sections with different motifs namely Folk Art Christmas, Santa Christmas, Inspirational Christmas, Merry Christmas and Nature Christmas. Each of the sections has a big sampler which is made up of separate smaller designs so that you can stitch as much or as little as you want. In addition, there are other smaller individual designs of the same motif in each section which are not yet found on the big samplers. That gives really a lot of choices. So, whatever your interests are and whether you are experienced cross stitchers or beginners or whether you have lots of time or little time, there is something to suit you. The big sampler is very challenging while the smaller designs are good for Christmas tree decorations and for cards.

I like all the sections (the designs are beautiful and the charts coloured and so many choices) but particularly the Inspirational section. The nativity Scene sampler is really wonderful. A good book to have.

The smaller designs in all the sections are good for Christmas tree decorations and for stitching cards. A good book to have.
