5.0 out of 5 stars A must-have, 4 Jun 1998
By A Customer
This book was my first purchase. It helped me choose a router, glean ideas for a shop built table, and helped me decide on some commercial jigs. This book is the most comprehensive guide to routing available.

It has paid for itself by helping me avoid poor quality bits and accessories. In addition, I was able to gain a great deal of router skill in a short period of time. It is practically he only power tool I use other than a table saw, thanks to the techniques presented in this book.

4.0 out of 5 stars A very complete and worthwhile manual, 4 Jan 1999
By A Customer
This is an excellent grounding manual for the first time router owner. Perhaps a little dated in its style and black and white illustration but no less useful. This book will pay for itself in no time by saving me many a costly mistake. It also gives plenty of ideas for more advanced work as experience grows.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Good book, Less overview of models would improve it, 21 Jun 2000
By 8hoddp@uk.ibm.com (Bournemouth, UK) - See all my reviews
The books was very useful, First time user, even I found it easy to understand. The description of models for fixed/plunge was a bit of a waste, more time I think should be given instead to making simple jigs. Good book.
