For unbiased information regarding both recreational and prescription psychoactive drugs, I can highly recommend this book. It is easy to read, and summarises all the leading research into each pychoactive drug in a way that is not only informative, but enjoyable to read! One of those books you look something up in only to find yourself still reading it an hour later, distracted by some other information that caught your eye.
