two years after the accidental death of her husband and son, sara martin is still wearing her wedding band,using it as sheild against any future love.
then a persistant prank caller shatters her fragile peace of mind and brings into it detective eric d'angelo. he brings passion into her life again.
even for a seasoned detective like d'angelo, the rash of murders haunting the city of austin seems unbelievably grisly.
he's confident that the sinatra killer will make a mistake and will be caught.then sara becomes the madmans next target.
this is a well written book by an author i had never heard of before.it is full of suspense that just sizzles on every page and leaves you wanting more.this is what romantic suspense should be like.
highly reccommended

This has become one of my favourite Dee Davis books. Two years ago Sara Martin lost both her husband and son in a tragic car accident. Still not over their deaths, she is plagued by a prank caller harrassing her in the small hours of the night.
Elsewhere in the city there is a serial killer preying on prostitutes and leaving his signature Frank Sinatra songs playing. Detective Eric D'Angelo is assigned to the case and finds himself sickened by the violence of the crimes.
When Sara and Eric meet up it is a case of unavoidable attraction, like two magnets they are drawn together, which puts Sara in the spotlight with the serial killer.
This is a well crafted romantic suspence and fans of her previous works will not be disappointed.
