A superb book consisting of clear and concise explanations illustrated by many example from the bible. Complicated concepts are introduced bit by bit and one never comes up against a point that has never been covered previously in the book. Even complete starters can go throught the book independantly.

This book also acts as a fantastic textbook for Biblical Hebrew GCSE and contains even more than needed...

The only downfall of the book is its poor index. However, the organisation of chapters is such that one can find a desired topic with great ease from the table of contents.

Much easier way into Biblical Hebrew than the more traditional Lambdin course. This book is inductive so you are exposed to words/grammar before you are taught them. This helps to take away some of the shock of new concepts.

Nice big Hebrew font also helps the eyes when studying!

Of all the Hebrew Grammar books on the market today this one is the most "user friendly." It puts the reader directly in the Bible and gives many examples. It is a life long companion to the biblical student. The binding, however, is awful and it will disintegrate by the second year of use.
