5.0 out of 5 stars Pinter: The Greatest Living Playwright, 15 Dec 1999
By A Customer
The second volume of HP's complete works shows some of the reasons why he is regarded as one of the finest playwrights the 20th Century has produced. 'The Caretaker' is, without doubt, his finest work where Pinter shows a tramp's struggle to fit into society. He also shows the struggle of Aston, who takes in the tramp, to become part of society himself.
