5.0 out of 5 stars well presented, excellent illustrations, clear guidlines, 7 Dec 2000
In the past ten years the keeping of poison dart frogs has grown incredibly popular, however until now there has not been a publication so concise and easy to read. The species covered within this book are the most frequently kept and the information about them would enable virtually any hobbyist to successfully breed the species. Chapters covering tropical plants and vivarium design are all too often absent from would-be guides but are simply and clearly explained here. The photographic guides to various husbandry aspects are easy to follow and without them many a hobbyist would flounder. The section on medication would be a valuable aid for newly acquired frogs. Altogether an invaluable addition to information available on poison dart frogs.
