4.0 out of 5 stars A very useful and informative guide for the novice, 15 Mar 2002
By A Customer
If you want to know how to breed pinkie mice to feed to your lizard or how to set up a colony of breeding crickets, this is a great book. It also goes into quite a lot of detail about the types of vegetables and fruit that your lizard may take.

5.0 out of 5 stars Does what it says on the cover.., 24 Jan 2006

Fantastically helpful book, full of information that's quite tricky to find on the Internet. Goes into some detail regarding different nutritional benefits of different insects, eg black crickets vs brown crickets. Also discusses natural habitats and feeding, which is something often forgotten about.. Also, it's full of *shiny* colour photographs - really nice. Not a huge book, but says what it needs to (plus more - it talks about housing too!)
