5.0 out of 5 stars Excellant insight to a great album!, 31 Oct 2000
By A Customer
Ten is one of the greatest albums of the past decade. The mixture of heart throbing songs such as 'Black' with the grunge classic 'Even Flow' and even the chart climbing 'Alive' or 'Jeremy'. This book offers a total guitar players dream. All the songs from this album are displayed clearly in their exact form for two guitarists. The tabulature of the immense solos on 'Alive' and 'Why Go' will leave you practicing for hours, just to get them right. If your looking to play Pearl Jam songs in a band, then this is the book you need to cover them exactly as they were originally played. The fact that it is now unavailible to order from UK shops makes this a gem of a buy on Amazon.co.uk. An essential for all budding McCready's!

5.0 out of 5 stars clear and accurate tabalature with some memorable photograph, 14 May 2000
By A Customer
The tab is good, and there is a excelent selection of photographes. Being as this is the only official Pearl Jam tab book available in the uk at least it's a real treat.

2.0 out of 5 stars Very inaccurate, 11 May 2008
By Matthew Notley (Guildford, UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Hal Leonard's music books range in quality and for the most part are pretty decent. This, however, is one of the exceptions. The guitar transcriptions provided here are completely wrong, with several pieces not even including the correct tuning.

Admittedly, the songs from Ten are difficult to transcribe. It's useful in that it includes vocal harmonies and the (mostly) correct chord names at least.

1.0 out of 5 stars Disappointing.
If you are interested in learning any old songs, then you might like this book. If you are interested in learning Pearl Jam songs, go elsewhere. Read more
