An comparatively cheap but excellently produced and very informative book although the number of drugs and species mentioned can make it rather heavy going at times. The book is also quite large and is more suited to a bookshelf than my briefcase where, apart from when I am reading it, it has spent most of it's time since I bought it

The photographs as one might expect from a National Geographic book are excellent.

It is a great pity all politicians and 'developers' cannot be made to read this book to make them aware of what they are destroying.
