4.0 out of 5 stars lots of pics, 12 Dec 2004
By A Customer
i bought this at the same time as i read the book "Gorillas in the mist" and when i read the book i had my own images about what certain apes or things looked like and this photobiography more than captured my own ideas,it shows you exactly what it was like for Dian and the Gorillas,it is a little fun picture book and altho it has very little writing, more fun typed for younger readers, the photos wont let you down, i wish there was more photos, but you have to remember that this is History and there was only so many photos taken of Dian when she was alive. a nice little book to own.pleasant.

5.0 out of 5 stars Our Precious Gorillas, 1 Jun 2009
More photos than text. This book contains photos I hadn't seen previously, plus snippets of information about Dian and her work that I hadn't read elsewhere. A moving insight into the work and the world of Dian Fossey. Lovely book, easy read, (good for kiddies and adults), with good piccies.
