In short, this, along with the other National Geographic books are some of the best on Photo Graphic techniques I have read.

This is another in the National Geographic photography collection, and is as well written as the others. This book covers nearly all of the subject matter that you will need to take great landscapes. Packed with pro hints and tips - this book is a valuable resource, the only point to note is that it does cover some of the same ground as the field guide book, but don't let this put you off.
The style of the text is very good, it assumes nothing, but with out being condescending. It is very clear and concise - with examples that once read you have the feeling of astonishment of how simple it was!

I have about 5 books in the National Geographic series and none of them disappoint. Easy to read, thorough on technique and in typical style delving beyond the basics, these books are both informative and practical. All are well illustrated with good quality photos as you would expect.
