1.0 out of 5 stars An academic tract - not a meditation guide, 27 May 1999
By A Customer
This book is an academic tract which analyses the contents of certain Taoist texts. It is not the texts themselves and is not a guide to meditation. I am unqualified to comment on the quality of the scholarship - but all I can say is that if you are a taoist, seeking to improve your meditational practice, this book is not the one you're looking for. As it says in the Tao Te Ching, "The wise are not learned and the learned are not wise."
