1.0 out of 5 stars Undetailed and Uncomprehensive Coverage, 15 April 2001
This book claims to be the platinum edition in large silver letters accross the cover. This grand opening unfortunatly falls very short of including even the most basic aspects of the visual basic language. Eg. No Mention of Dates, opening new windows (forms) etc. The coverage of the topics it does include eg winsock control is very shallow . And on top of all that none of the code egs on the cd match the examples in the book, you have to wade through a whole cd of files to try to find the example you are working on, if its there at all.
