If you want a book to help in optimising Windows performance on your PC - don't buy this one. I bought the book expecting to learn some secrets on optimising Windows 98 on my PC. What this book tells you, or attemps to tell you, is what you need inside the case to run Winndows 95/98 effectively. There are no secrets on optimising Windows. The book title is totally misleading. The two CD Roms supplied will run all the tests you could think of, but the results of the tests are tables of values that are meaningless unless you are expert enough not to need the book in the first place. So, save your money.
