I bought this book for my Beauty Therapy course. It is one of the best I have come across - well written, clear and with excellent illustrations.

It is hard to single out one section over the others - but how to put together a make up look set by step is invaluable - and I am a make up junkie!

My colleagues on the course who are not so comfortable with applying make up have seized on the book and are all now ordering copies. Our senior tutor has also decided to order a couple of copies for the library - so it must be good.

I would not hesitate to recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn make up techniques or simply to enhance your existing skills and knowledge.

This is a book that everyone must read!!!
The pages are clear and easy to read with step by step instructions and big pictures. The book is split into different sections each dealing with one area of Makeup and Beauty. My favourite area is the section of different looks, these range from pastels to bold smokey eyes. the layout of these pages are great because they have pics of the colour of makeup to use so you can't go wrong. there is also a section on applying makeup which has a few useful tips and tricks. the section titled understanding your skin tells you how to get the right colours for you and much more. there are also skincare and bodycare regimes which include things such as massage, acupressure and face masks.
This book is definately aimed at everybody and i repeat again This is a book that everyone must read!!!
