With it's layout and style, this book gives a thorough grounding in the history and science of Tenpin Bowling. It does so in a refreshing way.

Use of photos, graphics, and colour, make this book a very visual experience.

The book is littered with facts, instruction and tips for both casual and dedicated bowlers alike.

Not a bad book by any means, starts off slowly with a grounding in the rich history of the game and how the game got its start. After this the book moves through the usual motions of set-up, preparation, equipment, and so on culminating in a few words of wisdom from Parker.

The only bad thing i can say about this book is it is quite "light" on method and is not as technical or informative as John Jowdys Bowling execution, which is THE bowling book in my opinion. However the book is packed with photos, diagrams and suchlike which can be a godsend to those unfamiliar with certain more technical terms as broached by Jowdy.

All in all it is a decent book on 10 pin bowling and if you are a younger player you could do worse than buy this book as it is vibrant and a LOT more modern than other books but does lack, for me anyway a more in depth look at the game.
