I wasn't sure about buying this book at first because of the price tag, but as soon as opened the first page I realised what great value it was. Anyone who's ever loved costumes/fashion on the stage or the telivision will treasure this. There are gatefolds of colour pictures, glamour, fantastic design drawings...all by the brilliant designer Bob Mackie. There's a large section on Cher, Ann Margret, Mitz Gaynor,Carol Burnett and Rupaul, together with designing for Las Vagas as well as Hollywood. There are pictures of Diana Ross, Tina Turner, John Travolta...and a whole section on the Bob Mackie Barbie designs. There are even interviews with Bob Mackie himself. This is a high quality book, well worth the money.
