4.0 out of 5 stars Truth is Stranger than Fiction, 17 Aug 2006
By G. M. Buchanan "Page marker" (Scotland) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This book is a collecction of stories from true life therapists cases. I have never read a book like this ever before and therefore I did not know what to expect. I think amazed, shocked, saddend and a lot of the time turned into fits of laughter just about describes the emotions I went through. After reading this book,if someone had told me that it was all fiction I would have been pleased to believe them. Some of the cases described are so bizarre at times you can't believe that human beings would do such things to themselves or others.Other cases will have you rolling about the carpet (always assuming you have a carpet my family has always had a carpet -- in our tent)in fits of laughter. If you finish the book take time to thank your own particular God that you wern't one of the cases decribed. You and I (I think I can count myself as one of us) are OK and will remain OK so long as our own set of scales remain balanced. I recommend this book to you as something that is true and totally different to anything else you may have read.
