4.0 out of 5 stars Dragonlance at it's best, 25 Jul 2007
By G. Puxley "Glen Puxley - Book Addict" (cambridge, england) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
The most interesting thing i can say about this book is that it's happening during the war of souls and fits perfectly into that storyline which is mostly down to the author's writing. Linsha Majere is such an interesting heroine with her family's famous history and her self determination that makes her like both her dad and grandfather and uncle caramon and raistlin majere. While some parts are a slightly frustrating read it keeps you on the edge of your seat with the action never stopping and you never knowing quiet what's gonna happen. I think after reading the 1st book it's great seeing how the bond between linsha and a dragon called crucible develops and how the bond they share effects the story throughout. Some dragonlance books dont make the grade against the chronicles and the war of souls, but this book does it really brings the magic of krynn back to life. I cant wait to read the last in the trilofy, a must have for all dragonlance fans and fantasy fans alike!
